SCHOLASTIC ACTIVITIES BY THE FACULTY MEMBERS

i. Mantu Ramchiary has completed a UGC funded Minor Research Project on "Witch Hunting and Superstition in Bodo Society : A special study on Baksa District."

ii. Mridul Basumatary, Asstt. Prof. was the Editor-in-chief of the annual mouthpiece "The Bodo" published by Bodo Sahitya Sabha for five consecutive years.

iii. The seminar papers of other faculty members are being published with ISBN and ISSN in different journals.

SEMINARS

i. A National Seminar sponsored by Sahitya Akademi on "Romanticism in Bodo Poetry" was organized by the Bodo Department Teachers' Association in collaboration with Department of Bodo, Gyanpeeth Degree College on 26th and 27th September, 2015.

ii. A UGC sponsored National Seminar was organized by the Bodo Department on 10th and 11th March, 2017 in collaboration with Pioneer Academy, Barama on the topic "Folklore in the Literature of Regional Languages."
